At Berkowits School, financial aid is available to those who qualify. To apply, students must complete the FAFSA application at studentaid.gov . Be sure to enter our school code (042732) in the application.

Financial aid is available for the following programs:

  • 600-Hour Esthetics Class
  • 600-Hour Theory and Practice of Electrolysis Class

Please Note:

Financial aid is not available for:

  • 120-Hour Theory and Practice of Electrolysis Class
  • 320-Hour Theory and Practice of Electrolysis Class
  • 40-Hour Laser Hair Removal Class

General Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for financial aid, students must:

  • Demonstrate financial need.
  • Have a high school diploma or GED.
  • Be enrolled in an eligible program.
  • Be a U.S. Citizen or eligible non-citizen.
  • Maintain satisfactory academic progress as determined by Berkowits School.
  • Sign a statement of educational purpose and certify they are not in default or owe repayment on a grant.
  • Sign a statement of registration status.

Financial Aid Programs We Offer

1. Federal Pell Grant

  • A grant that does not need to be repaid.
  • Eligibility is determined using the formula applied when completing the FAFSA application.

2. Direct Loan (DL) Programs

  • Federal loans with low interest rates and deferred payments until after graduation.
  • Includes Subsidized (need-based) and Unsubsidized loans.

3. Parent PLUS Loans

  • Available for parents of dependent undergraduate students.

Additional Financial Assistance Options

We are approved to offer benefits under the GI Bill for eligible veterans and their dependents.
We also provide training through ACCES-VR for qualifying individuals.
