At Berkowits School, Financial Aid is available to those who qualify. In order to
apply, students must complete their FAFSA application. The link is fafsa.ed.gov.
Our school code is 042732 which must be entered into the application. Financial
Aid is available for the 600 Hour Esthetics Class as well as the 600 Hour Theory
and Practice of Electrolysis Class. Financial Aid is not available for the 120 or
320 Hour Theory and Practice of Electrolysis Class. Financial Aid is also
unavailable for the 40 Hour Laser Hair Removal Class. Below are some
requirements and an explanation of what is available. Please contact us at

Students must meet the general student eligibility requirements:

  •  Demonstrate financial need
  •  Have a high school diploma, GED
  •  Be enrolled in an eligible program
  •  Be a US Citizen or eligible non citizen
  •  Maintain satisfactory academic progress as determined by Berkowits School.
  •  Sign a statement of educational purpose and a certification statement that the student is
    not in default or owe repayment on a grant.
  •  Sign a statement of registration status.

Berkowits School participates in the Federal Pell Grant Program, Direct Loan (DL)
Programs, and Parent Plus Loans
 Federal Pell Grant is a grant and does not need to be paid back and must be considered
before any loan funding. The student’s eligibility is based on a formula utilized when the
student completes the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
 DL Loans are federal loan programs with low interest rates and deferred payments until
after a student graduates and is based on financial need. Subsidized and Unsubsidized
loans are available.
 Parent Plus loans are available for parents of dependent undergraduate students.

Emergency Financial Aid Grants: Quarterly Reports
